EnterGroup has enabled a new authentication scheme on its SMTP servers. Starting July 23 Fidelity & Family Mail clients can use their POP Login and Password to access SMTP servers in addition to the current POP first SMTP later.

This release is joined by additional capacity at our Fort Lauderdale, Florida farm. EnterGroup & Postini have an exclusive arrangement with McAfee software where virus software updates (delivered in DAT files) are made available to EnterGroup's clients before they are released to the rest of the public. We now checks for updated virus updates (Hourly.DAT and Extra.DAT files) every minute instead of every 15 minutes. This means that EnterGroup filters your email for new viruses more quickly than ever before — as soon as McAfee releases the pattern files.
